Friday August 7th, 7-10pm.
At Hygienic Arts, New London Ct.
It's been a long time since I've perceived space as "outer space".
For me, space is "inner space", it is a space to grow, to love, to gain perspective, and to find peace and freedom.
I think a lot about the space in between things that are connected somehow without ever actually touching,
like the tiny particles that make up our universe, or the distance between friends.
A work in progress
This work is the first in a series of prints and paintings of sacred trees.
This one is based on a vision I had in the company of good friends one weekend years ago.
I start one of these large scale "vision" works every few years, I never know exactly what they mean, or how long they'll take to finish, I just feel that I have to do it.
In the end, I find that my life, sometimes my career, has been transformed in the process.Click here to see more images and read more
